Deputy Manager - MHE Maintenance

We’re Hiring | Deputy Manager – MHE Maintenance

Utopia Industries is looking for an experienced Deputy Manager – MHE Maintenance to lead the maintenance, reliability, and digital management of Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including forklifts, clamp lifters, and stackers.

 Key Responsibilities:

 · Lead preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of MHE across warehouses.

 · Oversee mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and major equipment repairs.

 · Lead workshop mechanics, technicians, and helpers to ensure equipment uptime.

 · Drive the implementation and customization of a CMMS / ERP-based digital maintenance system in coordination with IT/Software Development.

 · Map maintenance workflows, asset data, preventive maintenance schedules, work orders, and inventory processes.

 · Digitize MHE/truck maintenance records and establish automated maintenance alerts.

 · Develop and monitor KPIs including MTBF, MTTR, downtime, maintenance cost, and fuel efficiency.

 · Manage spare parts inventory, maintenance budgets, external vendors, and cost optimization.

 · Ensure MHE safety, compliance, inspections, and operator training.

 Requirements:

 · Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering or DAE with extensive relevant experience.

 · 5–7 years of hands-on MHE maintenance experience, preferably within large-scale manufacturing or textile environments.

 · Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electric lift systems, forklifts, and stackers.

 · Proven experience in CMMS/ERP implementation, maintenance databases, or digital system development.

 · Strong data, reporting, troubleshooting, leadership, vendor management, and cost-control skills.
